Please and thank you, comrades!

Oh hi mostly my entire blog.

Well, except cat pictures. I post those often.

This is all fine and dandy, believe me when I say that I follow a LOT of… non-conservative types? I’m not sure how to phrase it; I follow people of everything on the left half of the political compass. But! Don’t forget to pay attention to the other side once in a while, too.

That being said, I focus on current events, political stories - usually within the US, and other nifty and enlightening things - all with left-leanings. I have been slacking due to my being overworked, but soon this blog will be working at full capacity again.

Welcome, Comrade.

This is an excellent, powerful video from the folks at Stop CSG Illawarra

Children of Men

  • Theodore Faron: Julian? I haven't seen you in twenty years. You look good. The picture the police have of you doesn't do you justice.
  • Julian Taylor: What do the police know about justice?

song of the day: Lupe Fiasco - Words I Never Said ft. Skylar Grey

I have a new found respect for Lupe. This song is powerful and speaks from his heart, not many people have the strength to speak what’s on their minds.

Wake the fuck up America. We need election reform, NOW!

This man speaks the truth. It doesn’t matter what side of politics you are on because none of the party represents you best. Both parties have been bought by companies and the rich.

We need political parties that listen to their members, not members that listen to their political parties.

We need to end corporate spending on elections.

We need the “alternative vote” voting system so that 3rd parties have a chance to get elected.
